Joey Maida and John Norman of University Movers, spent the day locked up to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Thanks to everyone who donated to help bail him out. Your efforts helped the guys raise over $1,000 for the MDA for the second year in a row. This money will be utilized for the following:
- Clinics - expert specialized medical care
- Research - cutting-edge investigation into treatments and cures
- Support - help obtaining equipment and coping with challenges
- Camp - a barrier-free week of fun, friendship and laughter for kids
If you have not previously participated, the MDA Lockup is a great event that really helps people. Organizations like the MDA are very important to University Movers, and we will continue to dedicate our time and resources to help improve this community.
